‘Faith, Hope and Love in the heart of Streatham’
‘Following Jesus in loving God and neighbour’ expressed:
- In worship
- In our relationships
- In our concern for others
Our Mission Action Plan
At our Parish Vision Day in June 2018, we identified the areas that we wanted to make a priority for action over the next three years.
Our aim is to express our commitment to be a community of faith, hope and love in Streatham.
Our priorities for action came under three main headings:
We want our worship to be accessible, welcoming and inclusive of all.
We want to express our gratitude to God by offering the best of who we are and the gifts we have in our worship.
We want to hear what God is saying to us and be open and responsive.
2. Those who are especially vulnerable
We want to ensure that those who are vulnerable among us, both close at hand and in the wider world, are noticed and supported.
We want the vulnerable in our community to experience God’s love through us.
We want to ensure that local children and young people receive from us the nurture and care they need to grow in faith, hope and love.
We want to strengthen our relationship with our church school and other schools in our neighbourhood.
Our Mission Action Plan is a living document which is updated every year. Our 2019 version can be downloaded here.
