We are currently seeking to employ a Children & Young People’s Lead.
St Leonard’s is a warm, inclusive and progressive Anglican church with children and young people at the heart of our community. We are seeking a passionate and servant-hearted Children & Young People’s Lead to provide vision, leadership and spiritual depth to our thriving CYP ministry.
This is an exciting opportunity to:
- Lead and shape our ministry with children and young people
- Equip and encourage a large, committed volunteer team
- Build strong relationships with children, young people and families
- Integrate CYP fully into the worship and life of the church
- Organise key events including First Communion preparation and our annual youth residential
You will be a practising Christian with love for God and all people , experienced in children’s or youth work, and have a heart for helping young people grow in faith, hope and love.
We offer a supportive staff team, a wonderful volunteer base, and a flexible term-time role that can work around other commitments. We are a fully LGBTQ+ inclusive church.
Enhanced Plus DBS required.
Genuine Occupational Requirement: practising Christian.
Start date: Sept 2026.
