Parish

The present day parish of St Leonard’s extends northwards from the church to the railway at Streatham Hill and westwards across much of Tooting Bec Common. The eastern boundary encompasses most of the “Streatham Village” area but then runs along Gracefield Gardens and up the middle of Streatham High Road to Streatham Hill station. South of the church it forms a triangle between the two railway lines which converge at Streatham Junction.

If you need to check which parish you live in, for example for reading banns of marriage, you can do a postcode search on A Church Near You.

We are bounded by the parishes of St Thomas and Christ Church to the north; St Peter to the east; Immanuel, Holy Redeemer and St James to the south; and St Alban, All Saints (Tooting Graveney), Holy Trinity (Upper Tooting) and St Mary (Balham) to the west.
