Parking
Please note that Tooting Bec Gardens is one-way and cannot be entered from the High Road.
Parking is very limited. There are a few spaces in the church car park outside St Leonard’s Hall in Tooting Bec Gardens. Both Streatham High Road and Tooting Bec Gardens are red routes but there are parking bays in the latter.
Public Transport
Bus: Streatham High Road is well served by buses to central London, Brixton (for the Underground), Croydon and Kingston. Routes 50, 57, 109, 118, 133, 159, 201, 249, 250, 255, 315, 319, 333, G1 and P13 all stop close to the church – just ask for St Leonard’s.
Train: Streatham station (for Thameslink and London Bridge lines) is about 5 minutes walk away. Streatham Hill station (for Victoria and Clapham Junction or West Croydon and Crystal Palace) is 10 to 15 minutes walk or a short bus ride. Streatham Common station (for Victoria or East Croydon) is slightly further but on the 118 bus route.
Tube: Streatham is still awaiting the Underground station it was promised in 1926. The nearest stations are Brixton (Victoria line), Tooting Bec and Balham (both Northern line).
Tram: Streatham is not yet on the Croydon Tramlink but there are connecting rail services from West Croydon, Beckenham Junction, Mitcham Junction and Wimbledon.
